The Kingfisher
2022The Kingfisher is a rare bird to see, with magnificent colours making it even more special when you do see one. Combining oven fired painting and tiffany brings the bird to you.
KIngfisher and the river
2022A rare sight, a kingfisher hunting over it's favourite spot in the river. Combining tiffany and stained glass into one colourful panel. To add to the detail the kingfisher has oven fired painted feathers.
Seagull
2022Bringing glass fusion and oven fired painting together produces great results and brings the bird to life.
Untamed
2023The quetzal bird is a resplendant, colourful bird (and the national bird of Guatamala) found in south america. It is also the logo for a superb start up company brewing kopmbucha locally. What better to celebrate this and hang in teh brewery window than a quetzal brid in the company colours and formed from tifffany with a little stained glass - stunning.
Gordon gull
2023Gordon gull is a simple piece with the tiffany method used to combine special glass, copper and wood. Simple and effective Gordon has a number of relatives, all available to stand or standing on a piece of wood.
Nemo
2023Clown fish
The Wave
2022Inspired by the sea, so beautifull yet so untamed. A fused glass wave brings all the colours together that you will find out at sea. Big rolling waves bring food for birds near the top of the water. The two birds are glass fusion with oven fired painting.
Tommy tit
2023Tommy tit was created using the tiffany method. He is glass siting on a glass leaf to finish off the piece. Tommy will sit happily in the sun or on any flat surface.
Cat
2022Our Maine Coon spends a lot of time checking on what is going on outside so I thought I would capture the moment in glass. He has not commented on the likeness. This is a piece using special coloured and textured glass and the tiffany method of glasswork.
The Sea
2022The is nothing more exciting than the sea, with it's power and majesty and so much unknown. using glass and heat I have brought together my interpretation of the sea. The bird is a combination of glass fusion and oven fired painting.
Butterfly Heaven
2022Using the Tiffany method I create a glass pane to celebrate the butterfly. I sat this in a stained glass surround to really bring the beauty of the butterflies out. I plan to make another even more colourful version soon. These panels can be free standing, or in a windor or door, the more light the more the butterflies dance!
Butterfly
2022I love butterfies and have made a few to try and capture the majesty they portray. Most have been made using the Tiffany method, this one is no exception. Each one is unique.
Butterflies
2022I started with simple colours and shapes and ued the Tiffany method to create a small group of butterfies - a kaleidoscope of butterflies is the correct term, very fitting.
